Nice comic, but you forgot Ireland (actually British motherland untill 1922 and personal Union unitill 1937), the Kingdom of Hannover and the Duchy of Brunswick (German monarchies, being personal union untill 1918). The tiny Island Helgoland was British untill they exchanged it for Zanzibar (<you?), wich was a german dependency at the time. Britain also occupied Iceland, the Faeroe Islands and Southern Iran in WW2, expecting only the axis had occupied clay. In Holland we would say, that's some other cookie. Yeay, Britain was fucking huge.
Ireland as a colony?Hmm...Maybe the Irish free state.I never thought of that Hanover and Brunswick had a personal union with Britain. And yeah,Britain occupied Iceland,Faroe Islands and Iran(with a help of the Soviet Union),but occupy means when a country occupies another country,BUT not the part of the invader(Austria-Hungary occupied Bosnia in 1878,annexed in 1908,just an example). But anyway you're right. Thanks for the info
