In all colonizations they had, many people have died. in the Spanish, the British, the French, etc ... But at least it is past, and so that does not happen now.

Million of trillions of lifes!!...

So, some yankee professors (not Mexican or Argentine... but ONLY US scholars) since 1960s started to "imagine" tens of million people living only in Spanish territorie (not in british ones... of course...) and that "creativity" is enough to speak of "millions of lifes lost"?

In 1810-1820 (when Hispanic American Independence movements) a majority of Hispanic America was yet INDIGENOUS, after 300 years of colonization. About 10-12 million people still identified amerindian or spoke indigenous languages at that point. Spanish America includes Mexico area, Maya area and central Andean (post inca) area, the most densely populated pre-clumbus areas in the Americas, yes... But ALL Hispanic Americas is less than a 20% of America continent surface. So... even considering the ridiculous numbers by yankee pseudo-scholars for pre-columbine population, only a fraction lived in later Hispanic domains. And in Independence Wars moment... still 10-12 millions were pure indigenous peoples + 4/5 milion "mestizos". Now, compare with colonial british, french, portuguese, dutch posessions... and repeat that illogical propaganda about the "millions of lifes" lost in Hispanic America.
