I don't really like it looking like indonesiaball, so I flipped the colors.

It's one of the Polandball rules. The only way you can differentiate Poland from Indonesia is that Indo is always wearing a kopiah and the way they speak.

Having ribbons or flowers on top shows that the creator is portraying that the country is a girl. It is optional though if you want the country to be a he or a she.

It's okay. France sometimes is depicted as a girl because she is Germany's wife/girlfriend and it could be the other way around. This also applies in other countries. E.g:
