Well. As a aproximetly 15 magnitude earthquake struck greenland in pre-historical times the south part of greenland was cut away from the mainland and the landmass started to move south by the folowing earthquakes until it stopped by the 50th paralell. (have a whole map on this) The land began to thrive with flora, and when amphibians started to evolve from the sea animals they started to populate the large island (aproximetly the size of france) Fast forward to the 800th century. Nordic viking merchants now got the sight of the island, and began an early form of colonisation, And as the nordics turned christian, the chiefdoms of the island did too. The world seemed to forget about the isolated country until the 16th century when swedish historians found old documents describing the island. Sweden launched a Naval invasion and did soon declare it a part of kingdom of sweden, as it was an easy fight versus the undeveloped chiefdoms. with the french revoulution about freedom The tiverians did revolt against sweden and did so sucessfully. As it grew a power in europe it was a part of the berlin convension and got parts of the golden coast and madagascar. The rest of the 19th century was a period with not much happening. It was neutral in WW1 and was after the war one of the leading powers in the world due to weapon exports durling the war. In 1930 when the depression occured the tiverians demanded a referendum, which turned the country facist. Siding with the germans in WW2 the war went to a decicive axis victory. The world was under strict facist rule until the 70s when germany, France and UK switched back to democratic and soon the whole world following after. But the strong nationalist vibe of Tiveria did not fade, and the Ironfist of the Tiverian government did not give in. In present Tiveria is a global power and one of the few facist countries left in the world. The navy of Tiveria is ranked the strongest and it has a high standing land force as well. It is not the most strict dictature in the world, and it has relations with other countries, such as its former occupier Sweden. Their national day is the 31st of January as the day the referendum was held.
